Privacy policy
F4T Disguise. Last updated October 27, 2026.
F4T Disguise is an unofficial browser extension that restyles the free4talk.com website. It does not collect, sell or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
What the extension reads
It runs only on free4talk.com. To redraw the page it reads what the page already shows you, such as room lists, names, photos and chat messages. This happens inside your browser and the information is never sent anywhere. The email of your account is hidden behind a click, and the extension does not copy it.
What it stores
Your choices (look, panel layout, language order, shortcuts you turned on, and similar) are saved in your browser's own extension storage on your device. Nothing is uploaded. Removing the extension removes them.
What it sends
Nothing. The extension makes no network requests of its own and loads no code from the internet. Links such as the feedback form open only when you click them.
Why it asks for each permission
| Access to free4talk.com | To restyle the site and add features on its pages. It has no access to any other website. |
|---|---|
| storage | To remember your settings on your device. |
| notifications | To show a desktop notice when a full room has a free seat, if you asked for a seat alert. |
| idle | To set your status to away when you step away from the computer. |
Feedback form and this website
If you choose to send feedback, the form sends what you type, an optional picture you attach, and the extension version. It does not ask who you are. This website counts downloads per day, and which version of the file was served, without storing anything about the person downloading. The feedback form uses a Cloudflare check to stop spam.
